A defibrillator for community use was delivered to the Red Head Villages’ Association on 30th August. It will be stored at the Bendalong General Store and be available at all hours in an emergency while awaiting an ambulance. The association is grateful for the efforts of member , Jenny Cleary , in acquiring the funding for this unit . Ulladulla Lions Club and Ulladulla Rotary Club both donated $1500 towards the cost of the unit . The unit gives clear oral instructions to the operator and will be able to be used by any member of the public to save a person’s life if they are experiencing a cardiac arrest.
